Wages up again in Poland

The average gross monthly wage in Poland rose 6.7% year on year in March to PLN 4,886 (EUR 1,173, USD 1,451), the Central Statistical Office said on Wednesday.

The figure was in line with what analysts had expected. Average salaries rose 6.8% year on year in February.
The figures are for companies with more than nine employees.
The average gross monthly wage in Poland rose 3.4% last year compared with 2016 in real terms, the statistical office reported in February.
