Polish economy grew 4.6% in 2017: stats office

The Polish economy grew 4.6% in 2017, the country’s Central Statistical Office (GUS) said on Monday, confirming a flash estimate it issued in January.

The office said that Polish GDP grew 4.9% in the final quarter of 2017, revising downwards a previous estimate of 5.1% growth in the final three months of last year.
The statistical office also said that Polish GDP grew 4.4% in the first quarter of 2017, revising a previous estimate of 4.1%.
It added that the economy expanded 5.2% in the third quarter of last year, revising a previous estimate of 4.9%.
