The airline already has two of the American narrow-body aircraft in its fleet.

The new planes will be able to seat 186 passengers and have a nearly 6,000-kilometre range.

They will fly to destinations including London, Vienna, Amsterdam, Paris, Moscow, Tbilisi and Kiev.

LOT’s fleet is 54 planes strong. An Embraer 195 is set to join the fleet this month, with a further three in the pipeline. LOT is also set to gain a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner in June. (vb/pk)
