Report: 68 percent of Poles upbeat about personal finances

Sixty-eight percent of Poles feel upbeat about their personal finances, Poland’s PAP news agency reported on Monday, citing a business data provider.

Thirty percent of those polled by the National Debt Register (KRD) company described their financial situation as better than last year, while 22 percent said their personal finances worsened compared with last year, PAP reported.
Nine percent of respondents said their personal finances improved thanks to the government’s Family 500-plus child benefits programme, PAP reported, referencing the National Debt Register.
The number of those who declared they did not have to make economies has risen to 25 percent from 7 percent in 2015, according to PAP.
