Teresa Czerwińska was speaking after the country’s Central Statistical Office said in a flash estimate earlier in the day that Polish GDP grew 5.1 percent in the second quarter of this year.

The reading was in line with analysts’ expectations.

Investment and Development Minister Jerzy Kwieciński said in May that Poland was capable of maintaining economic growth of between 4 and 5 percent.

Polish GDP grew 5.2 percent in the first quarter of 2018, according to the Central Statistical Office.

Poland's economy grew 4.9 percent in the final quarter of 2017 and expanded by 4.6 percent in 2017 as a whole.
