The agency aims to promote Polish goods and services and help investors to enter the Polish market.

The New York outpost is one among 70 offices to be set up by the agency across the world this year, PAIH’s vice president told Poland’s PAP news agency in June.

He said Poland is not visible enough around the world and that Polish products are not available in many countries.

The agency has already begun operating in cities such as Moscow, Sydney, Addis Ababa and Baku.

PAIH outposts are to be opened in 13 more cities by the end of 2018, including in Bangkok, Stockholm, Johannesburg and Sao Paolo, the agency said on its website.
