The airline, in which former Formula 1 driver Niki Lauda has a minority stake, is offering a connection from Kraków in southern Poland to Vienna, with the first flight scheduled for October 28, the tvn24bis.pl website reported.

Flights to the Austrian capital will take place four times a week: on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, according to the website. The journey will take around an hour.

Irish budget carrier Ryanair in August bought a 75 percent stake in Laudamotion, tvn24bis.pl reported.
