Unemployment in Poland at 5.8% in November: labour minister

Unemployment in Poland inched up to 5.8 percent in November, from 5.7 percent in October, the country’s labour minister said on Thursday.

The figure was a preliminary estimate subject to confirmation by the country’s Central Statistical Office (GUS).
The statistical office reported last month that unemployment rate held steady at 5.7 percent in October, unchanged from September.
The office reported in October that Poland’s unemployment rate fell to a new 28-year low of 5.7 percent in September, from 5.8 percent in August.
