The resulting trade deficit was EUR 5.1 billion, the statistical office said.

Poland’s goods exports increased by 7 percent in euro terms last year from 2017, while imports grew by 9.7 percent, according to the office.

Germany remained Poland’s largest partner in the trade of goods in 2018, public broadcaster Polish Radio’s IAR news agency reported.
