Growth of modern business services slows in Poland: report

The growth of modern business services in Poland has slowed slightly, partly as a result of automation, according to the Puls Biznesu daily.

Citing what it described as “unofficial” data, the paper reported that the sector expanded by 11 to 13 percent last year.
The business daily cited Wojciech Popławski, vice president of the Association of Business Service Leaders (ABSL), as saying: “For many years, growth remained at around 20 percent year on year.”
The modern business services sector employs more than 300,000 in Poland, Puls Biznesu reported.
Next year the figure is expected to grow to 340,000, the paper added, citing an ABSL forecast.
The ABSL is a leading group representing the business services sector in Poland.
