The companies have signed a deal to work together on digitising industrial processes, and on using advanced data analytics and artificial intelligence, according to Polish state news agency PAP.

The agreement with Microsoft is part of a broader digital transformation effort by Polpharma, the Polish company’s CEO, Markus Sieger, told PAP in an interview.

He added that the deal with Microsoft would be in force until the end of December 2020, but Polpharma was treating it as the start of a long-term team-up.
