Internationally renowned artist Marek Cecula has built a career in Israel and the United States as a ceramic designer and innovator. Cecula, who was born in Kiece in south west Poland in 1944, says he feels that now is his chance to give back to his home town and to the Jewish legacy it contains.

Reporter Hagay Hacohen takes the listener from the Polish National Museum to the Jewish Cemetery and then to the memorial site for Polish locals in Kielce, who gave up their lives trying to save Jewish victims of WW II German occupation. All the while, Cecula shares his passion and views regarding the complex relations Kielce has with its Jewish legacy.
