During his first two years in office, Polish President Andrzej Duda carried out over 50 foreign and 187 domestic visits and signed 450 bills.

Andrzej Duda was sworn in on August 6, 2015 and the President’s Office issued a summary of his activities during his presidency.

As one of the highlights of President Duda’s presidency so far, his office mentioned inviting US President Donald Trump, who visited Poland in July this year. Last year, President Duda hosted the NATO summit in Warsaw, where he met former US President Barack Obama.

In 2015, Duda received six heads of state and government in Poland, the following year 19, while in the first half of 2017 he received 13 leaders. He himself has been on 52 foreign visits so far.

So far, Andrzej Duda has signed over 450 bills, sent back seven bills to the lower chamber of parliament (Sejm) for revision and sent three requests to the Constitutional Tribunal to examine a bill's compliance with the Constitution. (mol/pk)
