Ski jumping champion Stoch takes it all

Poland's Kamil Stoch won the final event of the ski-flying finals in Planica, Slovenia, on Sunday, confirming the title of the 2018 World Cup winner.

Austria’s Stefan Kraft was second in the Sunday competition and Norwegian Daniel Andre Tande came third.
Kamil Stoch took the honour of the longest jump of the day, soaring 245 m in the first round of the event.
Kamil Stoch won the World Cup general classification with 1443 points, followed by Germany’s Richard Freitag (1070 points) and Norway's Tande (985 points).
"It was an incredible season, (...) in terms of maintaining a stable performance level from the beginning till the last jump," Stoch told reporters on Sunday.
30-year-old Stoch, the large hill gold medalist at the PyeongChang Olympics in February, is also the oldest jumper in history to claim the title of the World Cup winner.
The Nations Cup of the 2017/2018 season was dominated by Norway, followed by Germany. Poland placed third.
