Portugal kicks Czech Republic out of the tournament with a 1:0 win.

The darling of football journalists, Christiano Ronaldo, scores the goal, which ultimately puts the Czech team out of the European Championship.

According to statistics, Ronaldo spend total of 5 minutes on the ball, which - to be fair - is relatively long for one player in a 90 minutes match. It was mostly him, however, who the cameras pointed to.

Quite like the journalists, the Czech team seemed focused mostly on Ronaldo. This tactic proved rather unsuccessful, with very few chances for scoring created by the team (0% shots on target, compared to Portugal's 32%). The winning goal flew pass them in the 79th minute.

An injury sustained during the game will likely rule Portuguese striker Helder Postiga out of the semi final against either Spain or France, taking place on June 27, in Donetsk.
