Four most unprofitable mines of Kompania Węglowa, the largest coal producer in Europe, will continue to function, despite earlier plans to close down four of 14 plants in southern Poland.
Also in the program:
- Banks agreed to help franc mortgage holders after the value of the Swiss franc shot up from 3.6 to 4.2 PLN following the decision of the Swiss National Bank to remove a cap keepig the currency fixed with the euro.
