Polish bears waiting for ‘bitter cold’
The brown bears are still active in the Bieszczady and Beskidy mountains and awaiting “bitter cold to encourage them to hibernate”, a spokesman for the State Forests National Forest Holding in Krosno, in southern Poland, said.
