The match, in Antalya, Turkey, will be the last match of the year for the national team.

Coach Waldemar Fornalik has picked a mostly second-tier squad as part of preparations for World Cup qualifiers next year.

At a press conference, Fornalik said that he knew nothing of reports in German media last month that striker Robert Lewandowski would leave Bundesliga champions Borussia Dortmund for Manchester United in the January transfer window for 15 million euros.

“From what I know, at this time, Robert Lewandowski leaving Borussia Dortmund is not an issue,” he told TVP Sport.

Asked whether he thought Poland's top striker should leave the German club for the Premier League, he said:” I have my own views on that, but I do not want to express them publicly.”

Formalik, who took over from Franciszek Smuda as Polish coach after the Euro 2012 championships in the summer, was also asked what he wanted for Christmas.

“I wish he would give me promotion to the World Cup [in Rio, 2014],” he said. (pg)
