The Polish star, who won the Beijing tournament in 2011, is hoping to reclaim the title this year.
“It's always great to see a lot of fans here, even on the practice courts, and we're always playing in a crowded stadium,” she enthused, as cited by WTA's official site.
“I really enjoy it here and I always look forward to my matches,” she said.
However, Radwansks reflected that the Beijing event “is never easy.
“Everybody is playing here. Pretty much from the first round we have to face good players. I know I always have to play my best tennis from the start. I just go and try to play my best tennis every tournament though. I hope I can win here again."
The World No. 4 won the Korea Open last month, and then made it to the quarter-finals of the Toray Pan Pacific Open in Tokyo the following week. (nh)
