UEFA says Legia Warszawa may be sanctioned after disgruntled fans portrayed the organisation as a pig on a banner after the club's elimination from the Champion's League over a technicality.

According to UEFA, its disciplinary panel will deal with the matter during a session on Thursday 4 September.
The vast banner was unfurled on 28 August during a Europa League match against FK Aktobe.
The pig was shown sporting a shirt emblazoned with euro currency signs, accompanied by a bitter slogan:
“Because football doesn't matter – money does.”
Legia ran into trouble after fielding a suspended player in the closing minutes of their Champion's League match against Glasgow side Celtic on 6 August
On paper, the Warsaw team won the home match 2-0, having already beaten Celtic 4-1 in the away leg on 30 July.
However, UEFA gave the Scottish side a 3-0 win, allowing it to advance in the league. (nh)
