Poland beat Germany 2 - 0 in historic Euro 2016 qualifier

Poland beat Germany for the first time in football history, Saturday, with Milik and Mila scoring the winning goals during the Euro 2016 Group D qualifier at Warsaw's National Stadium.

Arkadiusz Milik headed in the opener for the White and Reds in the 52nd minute and Sebastian Mila - who replaced Milik in the 78th minute as sub - put the match out of reach for an injury-weakened German side, with two minutes of normal time remaining.

Poland top the group alongside Ireland - who earlier beat Gibraltar 7 – 0 - on six points after two matches.

The 2 – 0 victory, watched by just under 60,000 fans, is the first for the Poles over the world champions in 19 attempts.
