Poland advances four spots in FIFA rankings

The Polish national team has advanced four places to land 40th overall in the latest FIFA ranking released on Thursday.

The position is the highest held by Poland since 2009.
The White and Reds managed to climb the table after winning their recent Euro 2016 qualifier with Georgia 4-0 as well as their later draw with Switzerland 2-2.
The top of the table remains unchanged, with Germany in front of Argentina and Colombia. (jb)
