The mystery helper will supplement work by current trainer Tomasz Wiktorowski.

''It's someone from abroad who has won Grand Slam tournaments and has the experience to help achieve similar results,'' he told the Gazeta Wyborcza daily.

Wiktorowski indicated that all will be revealed by the end of the year.

''We came to the conclusion that in order to accomplish our biggest aims, we needed an injection of adrenaline and experience so as to succeed in the biggest events, in addition to solid, systematic, daily work.

''The person we have been talking to has the experience and wants to share it with Agnieszka.''

Krakow-born Radwanska is currently No.6 in the WTA singles ranking.

She has won 14 WTA singles titles but never a Grand Slam.

The 25-year-old's closest brush with Grand Slam glory came in 2012, when she made it to the final of Wimbledon, but lost to US star Serena Williams. (nh)
