Experts in Downhill, Dirt Jumping Urban Riding from the Poland, the UK, Germany, the Czech Republic and Slovakia have been competing for cash prizes in front of a transfixed Polish crowd.

Challenges included races through the mall's corridors, down escalators and over ramps.

Poland was represented by Szymon Godziek, winner of several European events, who came 5th in the World Cup FMB World Tour in 2014.

Besides the contests, fans and budding bikers were able to make use of training tips from experts, as well as sample extreme action on a simulator.

The event was laid on by the Radical sports management agency under the slogan 'Shake Your City ' (Porusz Swoje Miasto), sponsored by the Rockstar energy drink. (nh)
