Ukraine's FC Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk is due to face three-times winner Sevilla FC in the Europa League showdown.
“This is indeed the biggest event that will be held at the National Stadium in 2015,” commented Piotr Glinkowski of PL2012+, the company which manages the arena at present.
The 27 May match will be the first Europa League final to be hosted in Poland.
Before UEFA takes over the reins, the pitch will be re-turfed.
The Warsaw stadium was built to chime in with Euro 2012, which Poland co-hosted with Ukraine. (nh)
