The list, compiled for Sky by Spanish sports pundit Guillem Balague, sees the 25-year-old Sevilla player rub shoulders with legends such as Leo Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Balague describes the Polish midfielder as “another real find by Sevilla, who bought him from Stade Reims for what now looks like a bargain 4.5million euros.

“Krychowiak can also put in a shift in central defence,” Balague added, arguing that the Pole is “unquestionably one of the biggest reasons Sevilla are a good bet to regain the Europa League.”

Sevilla is defending the cup on 27 May, when the team from Andalusia goes head to head with FC Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk at the National Stadium in Warsaw in the final.

Krychowiak made his debut for Poland's adult national side in 2008, and he has won 24 caps since then. He has played for Sevilla 30 times since joining them in 2014. (nh)
