Goalkeeping legend Jan Tomaszewski believes Arsenal goalie Wojciech Szczęsny should start looking for a new club.

The former national goalkeeper, once described as a "clown" by UK manager Brian Clough before helping send England out of the 1974 World Cup qualifiers, said the 25-year-old Szczęsny will probably have to pack up his gloves and look for pastures new after the club brought in Czech goalkeeper Petr Cech from Chelsea this week.
Tomaszewski has accused Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger of lying to Szczęsny about him staying first choice between the sticks at the Emirates.
Szczęsny lost his place to David Ospina after a weak display in Arsenal's 2-0 defeat to Southampton on New Year's Day and was later caught smoking.
"In January I spoke to Adam Nawalka [the Poland manager] and he said that Wenger had told him that if Szczęsny worked hard in training he would play again soon," Tomaszewski told Przęglad Sportowy.
"It turned out that he didn't tell the truth. I'm sure that when Szczęsny said that he was going to stay at Arsenal, he didn't know that Cech was going to come because Wenger didn't tell him about his plans. Szczęsny should leave, because it will be waste of time for him, if he stays," Tomaszewski said.
"Wojciech must be devastated. This [Petr Cech transfer] is a big problem also for the Polish national team.” (jh)
