Kszczot takes 800m silver in Beijing

Kszczot also revealed that he aims to have a crack at Paweł Czapiewski's Polish record for the 800m (1.43,22) later this season . The silver medallist's own personal best (1.43,30) is the second quickest time in Polish history.

The Beijing final was won by world record holder David Rudisha, who took gold for Kenya with a time of 1.45,84.

Kenya is winning overall in the medal table so far, with Poland a respectable seventh behind the US in sixth.
