Tuesday's match got off to a somewhat bumpy start, with the hosts getting the better of Poland in the first set.

Japan then took an early lead 7-4 in the second set, before the Poles dug their heels in and began to bounce back.

After a narrowly won second set 27-25, the Poles didn't look back, with Bartosz Kurek topping the overall Polish score sheet with 18 points.

Poland's final match on Wednesday is against Italy, currently in third place.
