Gostomski joins the Scottish club after completing his contract with Lech Poznań, who he played with from 2013-2015.
He helped the Poznań side win the Polish league in 2015, and he now has the chance to make his mark for the Glasgow side.
“This is a great opportunity for me and with my experience I think I can bring something to Rangers,” Gostomski enthused, as cited by the Rangers' official website.
“They are a huge club with a great history and I am delighted to be here,” he added.
At 6 foot 5 inches Gostomski will be one of the tallest players on the Scottish circuit. He is preliminarily signed for six months. Rangers, founded in 1872, are one of the two oldest clubs in Glasgow, alongside longstanding rivals Celtic. (nh)
