Volleyball: Poland defeated by Germany

The Polish men’s volleyball team lost 2:3 against Germany in Berlin on Friday in a qualifying tournament for the 2016 Olympics.

The Poles will now take on a strong France on Saturday at 7:30pm in the semi-final. The other semi-final will see Germany taking on Russia.

The Berlin tournament ends Sunday. The winner will qualify for the Rio Olympics while the two runners-up will have a further chance to qualify in May in Japan. (pk)
