Marcin Gortat, the only Polish player in the NBA, scored 18 points and a career-high of 20 rebounds on Monday night, helping his team, the Washington Wizards, to beat the Philadelphia 76ers.

Gortat’s 20 rebounds set a personal record for him in the NBA. He also had five assists and three blocks. It was his 32nd double-double (double-digit score in points, rebounds, assists, steals or blocked shots) this season.
The Washington Wizards won for the third time in a row, beating the 76ers 116:108.(tf/pk)
