Kamil Grosicki and Paweł Wszołek both found the net twice, while Filip Starzyński slammed home a spectacular long-distance shot in the 32nd minute.

Poland's star player Robert Lewandowski, who came on in the second half, hit the bar from a free kick eight minutes from the end.

Wszołek and Starzyński were among those given a chance to prove their mettle by Poland coach Adam Nawałka, who is fine-tuning his squad for the approaching Euro campaign in France in June and July.

Nawałka said with satisfaction after the match: "We played with full commitment."

Saturday's win in Wrocław, south-west Poland, came after the Polish squad beat Serbia 1-0 on Wednesday in the first of four friendly matches in the run-up to the European championships.

Poland's first Euro 2016 match is set for 12 June in Nice, southern France, against Northern Ireland. Other rivals in Poland's Group C are Germany and Ukraine. (pk)
