Polish tennis star Agnieszka Radwańska crashed out of the French Open on Tuesday after Bulgaria’s Tsvetana Pironkova staged a spectacular comeback following delays caused by rain.

Radwańska, the No. 2 seed, led 6-2, 3-0 when the match was stopped on Sunday.
When play resumed on Tuesday, an inspired Pironkova unleashed a series of winning moves, taking 10 games in a row to notch up a 2-6, 6-3, 6-3 victory.
Pironkova is the first Bulgarian in a decade to reach the final eight in Paris. (pk)
