The Polish football team is well prepared ahead of its Euro 2016 game with Switzerland on Saturday, Polish coach Adam Nawałka has said.

“We're very well prepared – physically and mentally – and we'll try to implement our tactical game plan in this match. The players are well aware there's a great chance to get an excellent result at this EURO,” Nawałka was quoted by Uefa as telling a press conference.

Although the Polish team has not yet conceded a goal in the three games of the qualifying round, Poland's star player Robert Lewandowski has not scored a goal.

“We don't have a single problem with the fact Robert [Lewandowski] hasn't scored a goal. He's doing a great job. He's adapted to a new role in the team very well, and we're a team where everyone understands each other,” Nawałka said.

The two teams last faced each other in 2014, where they ended the game in a 2:2 draw.

At this stage in the competition, Poland needs to win every game in order to progress.

The Poland-Switzerland game in Stade Geoffroy Guichard will start at 3:00 pm CET.
