Konjuh suffered an ankle injury after stepping on a ball in the final set, with the score at 7:7.
She left the court in tears but returned to fight on, even winning a few points before being overpowered by Radwańska.
In her opening round at Wimbledon on Wednesday, Radwańska beat Kateryna Kozlova of Ukraine 6-2, 6-1. The Polish player will now take on Czech Kateřina Siniaková.
Twenty-seven-year-old Radwańska is seeded as number three. It is her 11th appearance at Wimbledon.
In 2012 she made it through to the finals but was beaten by Serena Williams. (pk)
