Leszek Krowicki has been appointed the new coach of the Polish national women’s handball team.

Krowicki, 58, will take over from Dane Kim Rasmussen on 1 September on a four-year contract.
Krowicki is a former Poland player. Since 2005 he has coached the VfL Oldenburg team, which twice took the German Cup and won the Challenge Cup. (pk)
