Zieliński is the latest in a line of Poles to be snapped up by top teams abroad and joins his countryman Arkadiusz Milik at Napoli.
The Italian club has not officially revealed how much it paid for Zieliński but Italy’s La Gazzetta dello Sport reported the sum was EUR 15 million, with the Pole signing up for five years.
Zieliński joins Napoli from Udinese, although he has spent the previous two seasons on loan to Empoli.
The 22-year-old defender has played 16 matches for the Polish national team, scoring three goals.
Ajax Amsterdam confirmed earlier this week that it had sold Poland player Milik to Napoli for EUR 32 million. (pk)
