Polish tennis star Agnieszka Radwańska has made it into the quarterfinals of the New Haven WTA tournament in the US after beating Latvia’s Jelena Ostapenko.

Top-seeded Radwańska won Tuesday’s second-round match 7: 5, 6: 1.
The Pole will now take on the winner of a match between France’s Caroline Garcia and Belgium’s Kirsten Flipkens.
Radwańska was playing Ostapenko for the first time and voiced admiration for the skills of her 19-year-old rival from Riga.
"She has practically no weak points,” the Polish player said.
