Basketball: Poland beats Estonia in qualifier

The Polish basketball team has beaten Estonia 78:64 in a qualifier for the 2017 European championships.

The game on Wednesday took place in Lublin, eastern Poland.
The Poles are the only team in group D to have won all their matches in the qualifications for EuroBasket 2017, which saw Maciej Lampe returning to the national team after a three-year break.
On Saturday, the Polish squad will play an away game against Portugal.
The European championships take place 31 August to 17 September next year in Finland, Israel, Romania and Turkey.
