Tennis: Poland’s Radwańska into semi-finals in Singapore

Polish tennis star Agnieszka Radwańska has advanced to semi-finals of the WTA tournament in Singapore after defeating Karolina Pliskova of the Czech Republic 7-5, 6-3.

The match lasted one hour and 19 minutes. Radwańska said after the game: “It was a very tight match and I was happy I could do my best at the important moments.”
It was her seventh victory against Pliskova in a row.
In the semi-finals of the tournament, Radwańska, currently No. 3 in the WTA Tours standings, faces No. 1 Angelique Kerber of Germany.
