Radwańska had trouble maintaining her service and won only three games in the whole match.

"Angelique is the kind of player who gives nothing away for free and you have to win every point yourself," Radwańska told reporters after the match.

Kerber, ranked No. 1, will now take on Slovakia’s Dominika Cibulkova in the final.

Earlier in the tournament, Radwańska defeated Karolina Pliskova of the Czech Republic 7-5, 6-3 to advance to the semi-final.
