Rallying: Poland included in WRC 2017 calendar

The 74th Polish Rally, scheduled between 30 June and 2 July 2017 will feature in the WRC World Cup season in 2017, according to an agreement signed between the Polish Automobile and Motorcycle Association and WRC Promoter GmbH, the German organiser of the international championship.

The rally stage will be based in the town of Mikołajki in northern Poland, with races to be held on gravel tracks.

“We are very happy that for the fourth time in a row, and the sixth time its history, the Polish Rally will be will included as a round of the World Cup. The 2017 season will bring many interesting changes to the WRC, and spectators cannot wait to see the best competitors driving brand new vehicles on our Masurian gravel stages,” said Andrzej Witkowski, the head of the Polish Automobile and Motorcycle Association.
