The Polish star striker, along with centre-back Kamil Glik and right-back Łukasz Piszczek, have been allowed to leave the team's training camp to return to their clubs.

Speaking about the upcoming game, Poland manager Adam Nawałka told a press conference: "Slovenia has a similar style to Montenegro, that’s why we have chosen this country for a friendly match."

After beating Romania 3:0 in a World Cup qualifier on Friday, Poland jumped to the top of Group E, followed by Montenegro.

That country appears to be the Poles' key rival in the World Cup qualifying stage. The two teams will face each other on 26 March next year.
