Skiing: Poland's Kowalczyk ends ninth in cross-country World Cup

Polish skier Justyna Kowalczyk took ninth place in the 10 km classic technique race during the World Cup in Kuusamo, Finland.

Norwegian Marit Bjoergen came in first in the race on Sunday, with Justyna Kowalczyk crossing the finishing line 52.4 seconds later.

Second was Finn Krista Lahteenmaki (+4.6 s), and Norwegian Heidi Weng (+12.7s) came in third. (rg)
