The tennis season may be over but Polish star Agnieszka Radwańska has not put her racket away. She has played a game against President Andrzej Duda, whom she described on Twitter as a “challenging” practice partner.

Their on-court encounter was preceded by a meeting at the presidential palace on Sunday.

Radwańska and her fiancé Dawid Celt were invited by Duda and the First Lady for a chat over a cup of coffee. Duda presented Radwańska with a bouquet of flowers and congratulated her on her latest wave of successes.

The 27 year-old Pole won three WTA titles this season, with her total WTA victories tally reaching 20.

She is currently No. 3 in the rankings. She also won the 2016 WTA Shot of the Year contest for the fourth consecutive year. (mk/pk)
