Poland’s Przygoński still sixth in Dakar Rally

Poland’s Jakub Przygoński and Belgian co-driver Tom Colsoul maintained sixth place in the Dakar Rally on Friday.

The route was shortened due to difficult weather conditions, with racers covering only 219 km of the planned 447 km in Bolivia.
Frenchman Stephane Peterhansel has taken the top spot in the overall classification.
Saturday’s sixth stage of the rally has been called off after downpours made many roads impassable.
The contestants had been due to cover 790 km from the Bolivian city of Oruro to the capital, La Paz.
