Monday's match in Nantes, France, was the Poles’ third defeat at the tournament.
Earlier, the Poles, coached by Talant Duyshebaev, were beaten 20:22 by Norway and 24:28 by Brazil.
Duyshebaev in November renewed his contract as Poland coach until the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo.
The Russian-Spanish trainer was appointed in March and led Poland to fourth place in last year’s Rio Olympics.
