Football: Poland winger Kamil Grosicki joins Premier League club Hull City

Poland international Kamil Grosicki has signed for British club Hull City from French side Stade Rennes, fulfilling his long-standing dream of moving to Britain’s Premier League.

The British club announced the transfer on Wednesday without disclosing the fee, but Polish sports daily Przegląd Sportowy says Hull City paid EUR 9 million for Grosicki and signed a three-and-a-half-year deal with him.
The 28-year-old winger was on the cusp of joining another Premier League club Burnley last summer, but the deal fell through at the last minute.
Grosicki has earned 48 caps and scored nine goals for Poland, putting in a strong performance at games including last year's European Championship finals in France. (str/rg)
