Stoch soared 238.5 metres in the first round, giving him second place, and 237 metres in the second, which was enough to secure him overall victory.

After the first round, Germany’s Andreas Wellinger was in the lead with a jump of 242 metres but his second attempt produced just 166 meters and he finished the event in 18th place.

Austria’s Stefan Kraft was third after a first-round result of 237.5 m, but also had a weaker jump in the second round - 215 m - and finished in fifth place.

Second place went to Japan’s Noriaki Kasai (239.5 and 241.5 m), and third to Austria’s Michael Hayboeck (241.5 and 222.5 m).

After winning Sunday’s event, Stoch moved up to second place in the final classification of the Raw Air series, which was won by Kraft, with Wellinger third.

Poland’s Maciej Kot finished 14th in Sunday’s Vikersund event, while Dawid Kubacki was 17th and Piotr Żyła 23rd.
